The working steps of the delay mode are as follows: adding water, adding alkali, adding receiving liquid, and passing steam; This may cause water alkali acid stratification in the distillation tube before steam is passed. Once steam is introduced to provide heat, a violent reaction will occur, and in the case of stratification, it will cause the crystallization at the bottom of the distillation tube (due to the formation of saturated solution and crystallization during the cooling digestion process) to become insoluble. Crystalline particles may be pushed up by the pressure generated by violent reactions, blocking steam pipes and distillation pipelines. Simultaneously, intense reactions can cause strong acids and bases to impact the distillation head, increasing the degree of corrosion and shortening the lifespan of the distillation head.

The working steps of the steam balance addition mode are: adding water, passing steam, adding receiving liquid, and slowly adding alkali. Before adding the alkali reaction, steam was introduced to effectively mix the acid and water, reducing the concentration of the acid while dissolving the crystals at the bottom of the distillation tube. When adding alkali slowly, the reaction becomes calm. It will not cause significant boiling and effectively protects the distillation head. At the same time, the steam volume is large and the distillation efficiency is high.

3.Explanation on Condensation Temperature Monitoring

The ammonia produced during distillation needs to be effectively condensed before it can be converted into ammonia water and completely absorbed by boric acid.
